The genetics of us

Three traits, three crosses. Tap every box to work out what the odds actually are. ๐Ÿงซ

0 of 12 boxes solved
Lab note. These are the classic textbook traits, and they make lovely clean squares โ€” but in real human genetics almost none of them are truly single-gene. Tongue rolling shows up in people with two non-rolling parents, earlobe attachment is continuous rather than binary, and eye colour involves at least a dozen loci. Mendel got the maths right; humans are just messier than pea plants.

All three crosses solved

Three crosses, nine little boxes, and a pile of probabilities. Here is the part Mendel never got around to modelling: whatever the alleles come out as, I would run this cross again every single generation.
