This Privacy Policy describes how Cosmovela and its affiliates (collectively “Cosmovela, we, our, us”) collect, use, share, protect or otherwise process your information and personal data through our website ustegify.com (hereinafter referred to as the Platform). Please note that you may be able to browse certain sections of the Platform without registering with us. We do not offer any product or service under this Platform outside India, and your personal data will primarily be stored and processed in India. By visiting this Platform, providing your information or availing any service offered on the Platform, you expressly agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy, the Terms of Use and the applicable service terms and conditions, and agree to be governed by the laws of India including but not limited to the laws applicable to data protection and privacy. If you do not agree, please do not use or access our Platform.
We collect your personal data when you use our Platform, services, or otherwise interact with us during the course of our relationship. The information we collect includes:
You always have the option not to provide information by choosing not to use a particular service or feature on the Platform. If you receive an email or a call from a person or association claiming to be Cosmovela seeking any personal data such as a debit or credit card PIN, net-banking or mobile banking password, we request you never to provide such information. If you have already revealed such information, report it immediately to an appropriate law enforcement agency.
We use personal data to provide the services you request: to create and host your Pages, to unlock and maintain your account access, to process payments, to send you account emails such as sign-in and password-reset links, to resolve disputes and troubleshoot problems, to detect and protect against error, fraud and other criminal activity, to enforce our terms and conditions, and as otherwise described to you at the time of collection. We do not use your content to train models, and we do not read your Pages except where strictly necessary to investigate a specific abuse report or technical fault. To the extent we use your personal data to market to you, we will provide you the ability to opt out.
We may disclose personal data to third-party service providers strictly to the extent required to operate the Platform — namely our payment gateway, our hosting provider and our email delivery provider. These disclosures may be required for us to provide you access to our services, to comply with our legal obligations, to enforce our user agreement, and to prevent, detect, mitigate and investigate fraudulent or illegal activities related to our services.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We do not display third-party advertising and we do not share your content with advertisers.
We may disclose personal and sensitive personal data to government agencies or other authorised law enforcement agencies if required to do so by law, or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to subpoenas, court orders or other legal process; to enforce our Terms of Use or Privacy Policy; to respond to claims that content violates the rights of a third party; or to protect the rights, property or personal safety of our users or the general public.
To protect your personal data from unauthorised access or disclosure, loss or misuse, we adopt reasonable security practices and procedures. Traffic is encrypted in transit over HTTPS, passwords are stored as salted hashes, sign-in and password-reset links are cryptographically signed and expire after 30 minutes, and sensitive routes are rate-limited against brute-force attempts. However, the transmission of information is not completely secure for reasons beyond our control. By using the Platform, users accept the security implications of data transmission over the internet, which cannot always be guaranteed as completely secure, and therefore certain inherent risks remain regarding use of the Platform. Users are responsible for ensuring the protection of login and password records for their account, and for the 6-digit access codes they set and share.
Please do not use the Services to store sensitive financial, health or confidential information.
You have the option to delete individual Pages or your entire account at any time from your dashboard; this action will result in you losing all information related to that account. You may also write to us at the contact information provided below to assist you with such requests.
In addition, accounts on the Platform are automatically and permanently deleted 7 days after activation, together with all Pages, uploaded photographs and associated records. This deletion is automated and irreversible. We retain only a minimal record of the email address of a deleted account, so that a returning user can be informed that their account expired rather than shown a confusing error, and basic transaction records where we are legally required to retain them for tax and accounting purposes. We may retain data if we believe it necessary to prevent fraud or future abuse or for other legitimate purposes, and may retain data in anonymised form for analytical purposes.
You may access, rectify and update your personal data directly through the functionalities provided on the Platform. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may also request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent, by writing to the Grievance Officer below.
By visiting our Platform or by providing your information, you consent to the collection, use, storage, disclosure and otherwise processing of your information on the Platform in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you disclose to us any personal data relating to other people — including any photograph of another person that you upload — you represent that you have the authority to do so and permit us to use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
You have the option to withdraw consent already provided by writing to the Grievance Officer at the contact information provided below, mentioning “Withdrawal of consent for processing personal data” in the subject line. We may verify such requests before acting on them. Please note that withdrawal of consent will not be retrospective. In the event you withdraw consent, we reserve the right to restrict or deny the provision of services for which we consider such information to be necessary.
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by your browser when you visit a website. We use cookies only where they are necessary to make the Platform work. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, third-party analytics cookies, pixels or fingerprinting. We do not sell or share cookie data with any advertiser or data broker.
The cookies we set, their intended function, and how they are handled:
| Cookie | Type | Purpose / intended function | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| session | Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in as you move between pages, and remembers which PIN-protected pages you have already unlocked during your visit so you are not asked for the code repeatedly. It holds only a signed reference to your session — never your name, email, password or payment details. | Up to 30 days, or until you log out or clear your browser data. |
How these cookies are handled and protected. The session cookie is cryptographically signed so it cannot be read or altered by anyone else, is marked HttpOnly so it cannot be accessed by scripts running in your browser, is marked SameSite=Lax to prevent it being sent from other websites, and is transmitted only over an encrypted HTTPS connection in our production environment.
Your choices. Because this cookie is strictly necessary for the Platform to function, no consent banner is presented for it. You may block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings (usually under Settings → Privacy). Please note that if you block this cookie you will not be able to sign in, create pages, or unlock a page that has been shared with you.
Third-party cookies. When you make a payment, the transaction is completed on the secure checkout of our payment gateway, Razorpay, which may set its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud. That processing is governed by Razorpay's own privacy policy and cookie policy, over which we have no control. We do not place any cookies on your device on behalf of any advertiser.
The Services are not directed at children and are intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Please check our Privacy Policy periodically for changes. We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our information practices. We may notify you about significant changes in the manner required under applicable laws.
